5th Grade Honor Choir Audition Info

The Columbia Fifth Grade Honors Choir is an auditioned choir made up of fifth grade singers from each elementary school around the Columbia district. The choir meets at West Middle School on Tuesdays after school (4:10-5:15) and performs at various events in Columbia. If selected to participate in the Honor Choir, it is a commitment to attend rehearsals and concerts.  

The audition process for the 2024-2025 school year is beginning. Mrs. Dexheimer will be teaching the audition songs to all 5th graders in preparation for the audition, but interested students are encouraged to practice at home as well using the links below.

AUDITION PROCESS

1. Learn the audition songs.
2. Sign up for one of the audition slots on either September 17 or September 24 with your school music teacher.
3. Attend the very short audition on your selected date and time (sometime between 4:00-5:30pm) at West Middle School (401 Clinkscales Rd).
4. Audition Results will be announced the first week of October.
