Dates
Students may share an act/talent with their class during their music time on the following days:
- A day music classes – Tuesday, April 28
- B day music classes – Wednesday, April 29
- C day music classes – Thursday, April 30
- D day music classes – Friday, May 1
Details
General Information
- Students do not have to share an act if they do not want to. This is meant to be a fun experience, not a stressful one.
- Students may perform alone, with a friend, or with a small group of friends from their class. They may not prepare acts with students from other classrooms unless they have been cleared with Mrs. Dexheimer ahead of time.
- Students may participate in no more than 2 acts.
- Acts should be no longer than 2 minutes. Shorter acts are preferred.
- All acts must be school-appropriate and safe. No bad words, inappropriate topics, or anything that resembles a weapon.
- Practice, practice, practice! Students should be performance ready.
- Students will not be allowed to change clothes for the classroom variety show. Simple accessories such as hats, capes, and similar items are fine.
- Students may bring any props needed for their act to school on the day of their variety show.
- If students need music files, YouTube links, or other technology for their act, a parent or guardian should email it to Mrs. Dexheimer ahead of time at sdexheimer@cpsk12.org
